Just saw the beanie table.  They must be doing well because they had 8 tables at the show.  That's $880 just to be here.

Yup. That's her.  It was that big last summer too and zero people wanted to look at stuffed bears.
We speculated that it was Tempelton's wife ;D.

It looks like the prices have caught up around here so I'm not holding my breath for any .223 under a dollar a round.

I won't even try to look at ammo.  The lines the last two shows were horrible.

Weird, weird show...

The Miwall line was an hour long for $700 cardboard cases of .223 Wolf.

There was another small local UT operation on the other wall selling Hornady FMJ .223 with Lake City brass for about $760 per 1000k in .50 cal cans and people were snubbing them. I think there are just a lot of new shooters that want 1000 of anything at the cheapest price possible.

I thought it was a pretty damn good deal considering the times (based on other shows) , so I picked up 2k of the Hornady loads, I'm done with rifle ammo shopping for the rest of the year and I don't have to worry about running crappy ammo.

I saw maybe a dozen boxes of .22lr from $60 to $95 a box of 525. By Saturday afternoon only that $95 box was left unsold.

Wow. Shooting .22 used to be the cheap way to shoot. Hopefully it gets back to normal soon so I can start shooting again. I don't even want to shoot what I have in fear that there won't be any to replace it. At least that won't break the bank. It hurts every time you pull the trigger now. Thanks for the info.

Ha.  And my father in law just gave me 1000 rounds of .22, granted they are probably 20-30 years old.  But they should still work.
