For many years, I participated in the Texas gun shows, and usually had 6-10 tables. A lot has changed since the. There was no such thing as a Pre 64 then.   

It was about the same as always, except the ammo sales were through the roof, and they had raised the prices on everything. At this time, there is really no reason for fear in the marketplace, but some are trying to use the election to price gouge. I did find a good deal on a 600 in .223 though. I saw the gun trust booth, but did not stop in. BTW, Cabelas sale starting this week has some good deals on ammo and reloading stuff. I normally do not pimp them, but the deal on the RCBS 1500 and the mail out cupon make it a bargain.

This gun show was huge.  A lot more people this time around.   One person bought $20k worth of ammo.  Many of the dealers sold a lot of guns.  Same for accessories but the focus was ammo.  Here are pics of the ammo guys after the first day.
